Sealed Bids

This is to correct a previous bid notice published on March 7, 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Summit Township Crawford County PA is accepting Bids to purchase Roadway Millings for 2025. Proposals must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2025 ROAD MILLINGS ” prior to 1:00pm Tuesday, April 1, 2025 by the Township Secretary, Summit Township Crawford County PA accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bids will be publicly opened and read on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 7:00pm at the Township Building, 10956 Plum Street, Harmonsburg, PA 16422. The bid specifications, summarized, include 2,600 tons of double ground millings, not to be ground more than a week in advance, delivered on the job site, Tailgated on the designated road(s).

Bids may be awarded at the Board of Supervisors Meeting Tuesday, April 1, 2025, beginning at 7:00pm or subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interest of Summit Township Crawford County.

The Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. The public is invited to attend.
